“What kind of wall phone jack does the base require? Thanks.”

• I don't know if it has a name, but this phone uses the "normal" type of phone jack that every phone I've ever owned uses. It "clicks" when you slide it into the jack correctly. Only the base needs the phone jack, but all the phones require a normal electrical outlet.

• Our base unit plugs directly into the computer and the 4 additional units utilize wifi and only plug in to a regular wall unit. It does not require the typical phone jack plug in.

• The main base requires a regular wall phone jack and an electrical outlet. Each extension base requires just a electrical outlet. Hope that helps.
