- Answer A recording comes on telling the caller to dial a 1 to connect the call. A robo caller can’t do that so therefore you don’t receive the call. We used to get many calls per day. Now we get one or two and they are people we want to talk to. It takes about 20 seconds to turn call block on or off. I would highly recommend this phone set.

QuestionThis phone only rings three times. Is there a way to change it to six rings? No info in the manual or in the phone window is helpful.

- Answer Yes, re read the section of the manual in dealing with the answering machine on the base unit. You have to choose not only on the base unit but on the phone via the menu button and up and down arrow key on the base phone, to use the answering machine or your voice mail. Then you have to set up the phones accordingly. The menu might be kind of frustrating at first but "play around with it". Also read the section on "intercom" calls and blocked calls. Your issue is how you have accidentally set the phones up differently than the base unit answering machine. I have mine set on 6 rings before my voice* mail* with my carrier kicks in because I'm slow getting to the phone. You can't hurt it to experiment until you get used to it. You can always go back to the initial settings. I removed the batteries from all three of my phones once to reset everything to default settings and started over. I am very much technologically challenged! :)

The batteries can last up to 10 hours max. if the handset is continuous use and 5 days max. if the handset is in stand by ( both applicable if the eco mode is on, except when using Link2Cell feature).We recommend you to charge the handset for 7 hours for the best performance.The rechargeable batteries' lifetime depends on usage.

- Answer The telephone has two settings for time adjustment: manual and Caller ID auto. If you have it set to Caller ID auto, the time will change according to your Caller ID service from your phone company. If you have it set to Manual, you will need to enter the settings and change the time. If you wish to check, please press MENU # 2 2 6 on one of the handsets.

- Answer We have an answering machine with our cable provider and all you have to do is go to the base unit and press the answering machine button on it and a voice will say answering machine off. Then your original answering machine will take over.

- Answer Doesn't have a lighted dial pad I mean they light up behind or around numbers pads, you can block up to a 1000 numbers and the display shows date time without having to press a button unless of course you want it lit up !

- Answer Hello. You can select a different ringtone for groups, the steps will be the following: 1. On a handset, press the left arrow key (Phonebook will be displayed) then press the MENU button. 2. With the Up or Down arrow keys choose "Group" and press SELECT. 3. With the Up or Down arrow keys choose the desired group and press SELECT; 4. To set group ringer tone: With the Up or Down arrow keys: Select the current setting of the group ringer tone and press SELECT; then with the Up or Down arrow keys choose the desired ringer tone and press SELECT, then press SAVE; 5. To exit the setting press the OFF button on the handset. -G

- Answer Yes, this is called remote operation. Using a touch-tone phone, you can call your phone number from outside and access the unit to listen to messages or change answering system settings. The unit’s voice guidance prompts you to press certain dial keys to perform different operations. A 3-digit remote access code must be entered when operating the answering system remotely. This code prevents unauthorized parties from listening to your messages remotely.
