It is unlikely the Geek Squad would need to come out to your house to install a telephone, as you only need to plug the included silver line cord both into the back of the phone base and into the wall jack, where your current telephone line cord is attached, and a power adaptor that plugs into the back of the phone base and into a 120 volt AC wall plug. You may need to first charge the batteries in all the handsets -base and remotes - before using them, so, attach the handset bases, with the handset sitting in its base, to their power adapters and plug them into a 120 volt wall plug near the area where the handsets will be permanently located, for six to eight hours, or even better, overnight, so the handset batteries can get a full charge before first use. For help in programming the new phone, or using the many features, you can call the manufacturer's toll-free customer service help line, The agents there are very familiar with that particular model phone, probably more so than the Geek Squad folks will ever be. Read through the owner's instruction manual, first, then write down any and all questions you may have about the new phone - features and operations that you don't understand or with which you are not familiar. The manufacturer's toll-free help line number should be listed in the owner's manual and/or possibly on a sticker on the bottom of the base unit.. Along with the list of questions you may want to ask the agent about the new phone, write down the model number of the phone system. It's located on several places - on the outside of the box, as well as on the cover of the owner's manual, and on the ID tag sticker on the bottom of the base unit. The customer service agents will need to know that model number so they can give you the correct information about that specific phone system.
