Hi! The phone has an option to call block either manually or automatically(automated call block). If you opt for manual call block, you can block the number after it has called you, or when you are being called. If you enable the automatic call block, it will ask callers to press 1 to be connected to you(or another number that you enter for the code, and it will also allow callers in your phonebook and allow list to go through)! Hopefully this answer helps you, if you require further assistance into this, you can contact the support team at shop.panasonic.com/support for more details. -A
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As an owner of the '975, automatic blocking follows a logic used for or within all phone options. I.E. : For auto blocking- (1,) On the phone's screen showing time, date, cell, menu, etc, PUSH button under the word - "Menu" (2.) SCROLL up or down until the word, "Setting", appears. PUSH the button under the word "Select". (3.) SCROLL up or down until the words, "Automated call block", appears. PUSH the button under the word "Select". (4) SEE the screen's words "Block/Unblock.". PUSH the button under the word "Select". (5) SCROLL to Block or Unblock. PUSH the button under the word, "Save" Automatic Call Blocking reacts to callers or calling numbers not within your personal telephone/address book. I,E,: When your phone "rings", your system reacts/answers with a recorded message instructing the caller to dial a single digit number. With auto blocking "turned-on", your system hears the silence of a Robo call, places a block on the calling number, and hangs-us. Sales/Solicitation calls by real people are within this group. To block personal sales calls or calls from the annoying Ex, one would follow the routine to manually enter the number to be blocked. NOTE: There are other instructions about setting-up the auto answer/forwarding message.
