Q: Questioncan this phone be used without an AC adapterIf so, does the phone line adapter connect in the rear of the phone if wall mounted, so that it would be hidden?

• A:Answer The KX-TS880W does not use an adaptor. It uses (3) three high quality “AA” size Alkaline (LR6) or Manganese (R6, UM-3) batteries. The Caller ID and the speaker phone function will not work without batteries.

Q: QuestionDoes this phone require AC power or batteries?Would like to understand if the Panasonic KX-TS880B requires an AC adapter or batteries for power or if it gets its power solely off incoming phone line.

• A:Answer The KX-TS880B uses three high quality “AA” size Alkaline (LR6) or Manganese (R6, UM-3) batteries. You might need to replace the battery after about six months when using Alkaline batteries or about three months when using Manganese batteries. The telephone can still be used without the batteries installed but the display will become blank and therefore will not show Caller ID information.

Q: QuestionWall mountable additional power source?Does it give a picture of how you mount it to the wall? Beside the jack connection do you need an additional power source?

• A:Answer Yes. The manual for the system will provide you instructions together with an illustration on how it will look like when mounted on the wall. The KX-TS880B does not use a power a/c adaptor, it uses three high quality “AA” size Alkaline (LR6) or Manganese (R6, UM-3) batteries. Batteries are not included inside the package. • A:Answer Hi Sharon, the KX-TS880B does not have a DATA port it only has one jack at the back for the line cord, you might want to purchase a splitter to accommodate another line cord for your answering machine or just simply plug in the external answering device to a different phone jack inside the house. • A:Answer As referenced on the included manual on page 18, you can set the date and time by doing the following procedure while the phone is not in use. - Press 'Program' on the phone and use the up or down arrow keys to get to 'Set clock?' - As soon as 'Set clock' is displayed on the screen press 'OK' and use the number keys to select the year, press 'OK' - Again use the number keys to select the hour and minute and press 'OK' - press the pound sign (#) to select AM or PM or military time and press 'OK' - Use the number keys to select current month and day press 'OK' then press 'Program' again to exit the setting. • A:Answer Hi Rozanna, Yes, the KXTS880B phone system has the One Touch Dialer feature which you can store up to 20 phone numbers in the One Touch Dial buttons. And at the same time it has the Speed Dialer feature which you can store up to 10 numbers in the memory stations.
