- Answer Thank you for reaching out to us! Kindly be informed that the base unit has an indicator that will keep blinking when you have a message pending. After listening to that message, the light will still be on, however it will stop flashing.

- Answer Yes, you can call block while the phone is ringing and also after the call. Those numbers are are kept on the phone. I LOVE this feature!

Questioni am hearing impaired and only have sight in one eye. i like to set answering machine to come on after 5 rings. the one i have now answers after 2 rings and if i pick up during the recording the caller cannot hear me.

- Answer The 'default' ring setting is 4 rings. But there is the option for 2 to 7 rings.

- Answer Dear Susan, you can change the maximum message recording time allowed for each caller by pressing MENU #305. You can set up the recording time to 3 minutes. The total recording time is about 17 minutes, including your greeting message. Up to 64 messages can be recorded.

- Answer The KXTGD530 was released in 2017 therefore its possible that the additional handset models may not be as readily available as retailers. Please check with the Panasonic Encompass Parts site to see if the handset is available for purchase.
