Hello! The sensor would be the same for both of the cameras and they have the same megapixels. The G7 has a 2360k dot Electronic viewfinder while the GX85 has a 2764k dot Electronic viewfinder. The ISO is very similar on both models going up to 25600. The GX85 camera has 8.0fps continuous shooting while the G7 has 7.0fps continuous shooting. If portability is important GX85 would be a good choice, but if you prefer a larger body with a fully articulating screen, the G7 camera might be the better choice.
