You are not able to mount filters on this camera, and it is not possible to mount an adapter on it to do so.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I needed a wide angle adapter to take in more of a volleyball court for games. I ordered a lens with adapter ring. Perfect, except sticky tape was not strong enough to remain attached with the weight of the wide angle lens. So I took a chance, positioned the adapter ring on the camera and "spot welded" into place with two small spots of super glue. The adapter ring is solid as is the attached lens. And so far, so good. And very happy with the resulting video. And now I have an adapter ring for use with other light weight filters. As well as a protective lens cap. The risk, I'm sure, is that the Panasonic lens assembly is not intended structurally to carry this weight. So just be aware.
