It came with a charging cord that you attach to the game system.

The controller comes with a USB-C-to-USB charging cord. Connect the smaller USB-C end to the top of the pro controller, between the trigger buttons. You can connect the larger USB end to any USB port to charge, such as one on your computer or the back of your Switch dock. If the controller doesn't charge when connected to your Switch dock, I recommend trying to charge it with a different USB port, as the Switch port sometimes doesn't work.
