Yes. It's like a standard remote control. There is nothing to turn on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Always ready, it uses IR. It is not like the game remote that turns off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah it is always on....just press the pause button and it pause....play button and it plays.....and so on
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it acts as a tv remote basically. That’s the reason I bought it. Was sick of always having to turn my controller off and on to watch a movie. This does the trick. Everything you need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will always be able to control the xbox, you don't have to keep turning it on like a controller after inactivity.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works just as a regular remote would... just pick it up and use it when you need it. There's no need to "power it up" like you do with the game controller. Also, the buttons light-up for a few seconds whenever you move it. Which makes night-time viewing much easier.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It's always on and functions like any other regular remote would.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not work like the controllers. It stays on always but the batteries last forever. I have had the same set of batteries in my first remote for my upstairs Xbox for over a year now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It acts like a normal TV remote. Button light up when moved and turn off after a few moments.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The remote is always on, but it only illuminates the keys when you pick it up. This is the most brilliant idea I have seen on a remote in a long time. It makes so much sense, if it's not being used lights stay off to conserve battery power and once it's picked up the buttons illuminate, BRILLIANT!!! So, no need to press a button just to make it light up anymore. Not saying that another company hasn't done the same before, but I've never seen it and I've owned a lot of different brand remotes!
