- Answer Yes that is correct. This will plug into any standard outlet. You will also need to download the app and sync it with the plug. It's probably a 5-minute process but not bad.

Instead our Peace by Hampton Smart Wi-Fi bulb may be more suited for your use. It features a range of 16 million color hues and 50,000 shades of whites to deliver custom ambiance.

- Answer You need a dual band with 2.4g to work the plug. Most routers have this. Won't work on 5 g.

QuestionWhy does my Peace by Hampton smart plug have the red and blue lights lit but yet Alexa cannot discover it ?

- Answer Hi Sharon, The Red and Blue lights are just indicator lights to let you know the plug is connected to your network and rather it's on or off. Before Alexa can pick up the plug, you must enable the Peace By Hampton skill in the Alexa app. If you have already enabled the Peace By Hampton skill or need help doing so, please get in touch with our Customer Care Team at 833-732-2324.

- Answer Not sure about Google assistant but I use Alexa with my Echo Dots to control these all the time without issues. I would guess it would work with Google as well.

QuestionI plug it to the power socket, connected, worked well for one month, then it suddenly disconnected from WIFI. I reconnect it again, connection show OK. Half day later, it suddenly disconnected from WIFI again. The plug is i the centre of living room.
