It seems like any other machine easy to descale. I use purified water so I normally never have an issue with any machines. Like Nespresso you drop descaling solution in and run. It came with oil for parts. You can take the internal parts out to clean very easily. The shots taste good-providing you find the grind and roast/coffee you like. The only complaint I have is the on/off button is fickle.
