Not sure...but you won't need the dimmer switch, as it's super simple to dim them in the app. I use Siri -- and I know you can use Alexa, too -- and say "Hey Siri. Make the Living Room lights 30%." You can get it granularly dimmed. 11%, 28%, 56% or whatever. I hope this answers your question. Good luck. I think it's an awesome product.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They will not. They need full watts in order to work. The moment you turn down the dimmer the bulb will start flashing indicating that it is not getting full power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No they don’t. I wouldn’t recommend putting them on a manual dimmer switch. These bulbs can dim on their own, so they make dimmer switches obsolete. Convert your dimmer switch to a standard switch, and then use the hue bulb for all of your dimming needs. If you want to use an actual switch to dim or brighten the light, then you can purchase a Philips hue dimmer switch. You can also use Philips hue tap to manually control the lights. The dimmer and the tap stick to your wall with 3M command strips. You can customize the buttons to do whatever you want.
