• A19 is the bulb shape. E27 (or E26 here in the USA) is the size of the socket screw base, also called a medium base. A19 is the sandard indoor light bulb shape. They also have a BR30 shape bulb that fits into the standard ceiling can fixtures and it has the E26 medium base as well.
