Yes you can buy any Phillips Hue Bulb and it will connect with the Hue Bridge that comes with this starter kit. I currently have 9 bulbs and some are color and some white.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can mix the color and white. I have both all controlled through the one hub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, they don't have to be color. You can add white bulbs, LED strips, portable lighting, or Philips new ambiant smart bar. So yeah! Add as you see fit. They'll all add seamlessly through the Philips Hue app.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The starter kit is designed to use Hue lights. The bridge included will handled up to 50 additional Hue bulbs (of any variety) before needed to add another bridge. If you want to add other brands of light bulbs you will need to add the appropriate hub for those lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are able to connect HUE Color, white, strips, etc. all to the same bridge. I did the same thing and bought both color and white bulbs depending on the room I was putting them in and they all work perfectly with my single bridge. The only limitation I can find is the number of individual elements you can connect to a single bridge, but even that is quite a high amount of lights!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any Hue lights will work with this kit
