It's pretty much sealed as much as any other bulb, as long as you're socket is not getting wet, you should be good.

I have a number of HUE bulbs in outdoor fixtures & have for several years. I power each bulb 8 hours / day. Not one has given a minute's trouble.

Please try again later.It's not advertised as weatherproof, but I have been using them in a fixture next to my door and two overhead lights outside of my garage and they have been working great. Winter is coming soon and that will be the real test, but no, Philips don't call them weatherproof so don't be surprised if extreme cold damages them.
