Are you searching via the app while the Strip is on? If that doesn't work, manually search by entering the serial number off of the Strip which is located on the rectangular part you can stick onto something...

Another thing to consider would be the distances placed between the lights an the bridge. I would als try reseting your router and and make sure you're utilizing the find button on your bridge

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Simplest answer, keep trying. Also, the new (square) hue bridge is more reliable. I added the dimmer switch and a light strip and things got weird until I basically reset the bridge and started again. Good news is when it finally recognized it all worked prefect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This also happened to me - I was ready to return the light strip after multiple attempts. Finally, I updated the Hue Bridge app and ran discovery again. It found the light strip and the additional bulb I purchased. Good luck!
