I have a 55" and it long enoughso I wouldn't recommend an extension. However the adhesive is weak and strip cant really make tight bends. .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I needed the light strip kit and one extention set for my 50 in TV. You might need 2 or 3 extension kits.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the starter kit has an 80 inch light which is long enough to go over a 65 inch tv if you are only going over the tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends what effect you want. I currently have 3 strips plus 1 extension on the back of my 65inch tv. I'm considering adding another extension only because I have an extra one. If the tv is pretty close to the wall 1 or 2 may work. I like a lot of backlight.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You just need to measure it. The normal is 80" & the extensions were 40, so that's 120" which is 10ft. Measure your TV. Nobody can answer that, but you! :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think one extension should be enough to connect to the main line. For ideas, there is apparently a YouTube video by Philips that has a house configured 100% in Hue lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Buy 1 and the extension. I have a 60" TV and that covered it easily
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just did the back of my 65 in tv and i used almost 15ft. One main unit and almost 3 add on's. Spaced about 1in in from the bezel
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I guess it depends on where behind the TV you want the strip, but we have a 65” too and we bought a different but basicaly same strip and just molded it to the back so that it fits and all you see and appreciate is the glow of the light anyway. The strip gives off a lot of light and it shouldn’t matter if it’s right off the edge of the back of the TV or a few inches in, as long as it goes all the way around and you don’t have any “dark corners”, the glow will be very bright and you probably won’t even be able to notice where it’s at, but like everything it’s up to your personal taste. I would suggest just buying a strip and testing it before sticking it, if at that point you feel it isn’t bright enough or you want it to cover more towards the edges than it does, then an extension should more than do the trick, but like I said, I sincerely doubt you’ll need it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.80 inches
