Yes, the second generation strips have ends that can attach to each other. You can add a 6 foot strip to another 6' strip or to a 3' strip. Make sure you are buying second generation light strips and have the second generation bridge.

Please try again later.You can either group the lights together in the app to control them as one light or you can buy extensions, You can not plug two of these light strips into each other however. There is a HUE application for Android so yes you can control them from an Android phone.

As far as making the strip longer there is an extension kit that you can plug into the end of the primary kit. If you have multiple primary units they can all be scened together, or set as multi colors which is pretty cool. I have three primary kits under three cabinets in the kitchen and it sets up multi colors under each cabinet. As the controller sets the whole strip, not just an individual led in the strip, an extension kit would be the same color/temp as the strip you extend.
