My lites (3), are on a dark green wall and are still very very bright! Really looks good with the blue effect!!

My recommendation would be to go with the HUE Play gradient lightstrip . It comes in 3 different sizes: 55”, 65” and 75”. Keep in mind that to get the best experience you need the HUE Play HDMI Sync Box, so you can sync the movie with the lights. One more thing, you need the HUE Hub to connect all your hoy HUE lights.
