201 has the power adapter. 203 does not. 203 can be connected to an existing power adapter from another Hue Play Light bar, as they each have 3 slots to plug in additional such devices - like other Hue Play Light bars or the Hue Play Sync box.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They are actually the same product. Only difference is that the cheaper one is meant to be added to an existing set up. It does not come with the wall adapter for power. For example, if you buy the hue play starter pack that comes with 2 play bars, and wanted to add a third play bar, you would buy the “203” model. The adapter allows up to three play bars to be connected at once. If you only wanted 1 play bar and you don’t already have the starter pack, go with the “201” model.
