yes you can adjust to warm tone.

they have 3 programmable tones, nighttime is the lightest, dimmable is medium and bright. but you can mannually adjust them to in between tones. :)

Yes the bulbs cast a warm light but much softer than a regular bulb. I use them in lamps which have a 60 watt limit so I use them for soft lighting. So far I have regular bulbs in overhead fixtures that I use when I want brighter lighting for activities such as reading

These are not the ambient white bulbs. They don't have the yellow to blue light like the ambient ones do. But they have the dimming capability.
