Yes... as long as the bulb has power, it will work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a couple of mine in 3-way lamps, and they function just fine, just as you can use a non-3-way regular bulb in a 3-way lamp, and it will turn on in 2 of the 4 switch positions. However, you will be controlling the bulbs mainly via smartphone, smart home device, or the Hue accessories such as the dimmer or Hue Tap, so you will just leave the lamp switch permanently in one of the on positions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no had any issues with the bulbs on my 3 way switch. I just make sure to keep the switch on "high". I've had these for about 6 months now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does not. It's 60w max and then you can dim it or brighten it via the Hue app. or Amazon Echo, etc. It might be possible to buy a smart bulb which maxes out at a higher lumen/wattage and then dim via the app to simulate the brighter light you'd normally get in a 3 way bulb.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. These will work with 3-way bulbs BUT only at whatever 'brightness' the bulb is set at. The Hue app will not change the brightness setting; it will only turn the light fixture on and off.
