I have 1 hub and so far it controls 3 bulbs. I have 2 set up to work together in my living room and 1 in my hall way. They all work off the same hub, which is in a different room all together.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The hub has a pretty good range. It's in a closet in my living room and reaches the bedroom on the other end of the house with ease.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only needs one hub. I have 9 bulbs bulbs in various rooms
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One hub operates up to 50 devices or lights. You can group lights to be controlled together with a name such as living room while still being able to operate individually.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You just need one, it will find all your Hue devices. Maybe if you have a large house you might need two but if you get a wifi signal the lights will find the bridge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My one hub controls lights in every room on the three floors of my house. I thikn there is a limit to how many lights you can control with one hub, but I think it is like 40 bulbs or something!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The hub works through your wireless network that should theoretically cover you entire house. Thus, one hub will control multiple Philips Hue devices, to include multiple bulbs in multiple rooms or even multiple levels of your home. My hub currently controls lighting in 5 different rooms. I will note that the hub must be hard lined to your router so you will have to place it very closet to your router for the Ethernet cable to reach.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can have the lights installed in any room in your house. I have the starter kit plus another bulb and each light is is a different room than the hub. No issues at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1 hub can control multiple rooms
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought the starter kit with 2 light bulbs and it came with 1 hub. It works both lights and they are in different rooms. You just need to tell your device to turn on that specific rooms light. Hope this helps.
