“Hi! How does this compare to the Norelco BG2040? Mine broke, and it looks like it's an improved model. I know it has a better battery and charging method, but does it cut the same? Are the trimmer lengths the same?”

• Yea my older model to this did a better job but I haven’t found another shaver to match it so this will do.

• Well I didn't own that one but I did own a (bg 2034) and to me.all the foil heads are all the same and the trimmers look the same

• This is larger than my other one, which makes some things a little difficult. However, it cuts MUCH better than my old one.

• I Also had the BG2040. The improved charging method is less of a hassle. This model cuts the same as the BG2040. The only difference is the BG2040 had a a more premium feel to the fit and finish as this model uses more plastics. Still a great product, smooth on the skin, and no worrying about bad accidents :D E- (Excellent minus)

• On the trimmer side, it is adjustable for all standard barber lengths (0-5). Flip it over, and you have a razor that gives you a normal shave with a bonus - the leading edge has a pre-mower (that doesn't knick) that will chop down the taller brush to allow the close screen to get it clean.

• It is a longer trimmer and has a longer battery with better charging method. Improved model.

• I think it cuts better. I can’t remember the lengths on the other, but this one has several options.
