I change it when the bristles are worn. Apparently this toothbrush tells you when it is time to change the head.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on how much you use it. I typically use mine once a day, but I go back to a manual toothbrush when I travel. For the first one of these brushes I bought it took me a good six months before I replaced the head on mine. I had the battery in the brush go bad before I replaced the head again. The nice thing with this brush is that it has an indicator on it to let you know the brush head needs to be replaced. So you’ll get a sense after awhile, but it does depend on just how often you’re using it.
