Best Buy may add trial subscriptions to your purchase, and after the trial period ends they automatically start billing your credit card without any warning - even if you never activated or downloaded anything. It's a sneaky way to add on revenue to a sale; otherwise, they would just give you a month free with no strings attached. You can cancel by calling 888-BEST-BUY but be warned you will have to dispute the charge with your credit card company to get the initial charge refunded.

I've been having to cancel the charge ($220) with my bank "5 TIMES!" and Best Buy keeps trying to get the money every other freakin' day! A complete and absurd nightmare ... :&

It just showed up as a $49.99 charge on my credit card. I NEVER signed up for anything with Best Buy. How dare you BEST BUY! You have lost my trust, respect and my business. Not that it matters to you because a company that would resort to unauthorized charges to make a buck, really DOES NOT care. I will warn as many people as I can to what you are doing. It’s just WRONG. Shame on you.

Customer service said they would credit my credit card for the Unauthorized charge. Shame on you Best Buy for trying to make a buck using unethical tactics. Do better.
