Q: QuestionWill I be able to record all shows, series & movies from my HD Sony television. I have Xfinity/Comcast service.

• A:Answer This is a question to your question. HOw would you record shows and stuff from your tv unless your tv has a video output. That means there has to be a connection on your tv that sends the video picture out from the tv to this device along with a audio connection thats sends the sound from the tv to this device. if theres no output connections on your tv then this is not able to record anything from your tv. Im not sure if hdtv even have video outputs i maybe wrong tho.

Q: Questioncan I upload Hi8 movies to a file on my computer?I have windows vista. I would like to upload my Hi8 tapes and vhs tapes to a file on my computer to either burn onto a dvd"my computer has a dvd burner", or load onto a memory stick which I can stick into my tv via usb port and watch on my tv. Is this possible with this product and what version would work the best for this? once uploaded would they be video files?

Q: QuestionEdit softwareWhat I want to do it down load my VCR tape to my computer & than go into edit all the bad section out ( on the start, middle & end of the tape or anywhere on the tape that I want to edit. ) on my tapes, I hope that you understand what I am talking about doing with the editing part. • A:Answer Ok, to get the vhs tape on your computer run Dazzle and hit capture.When your done hit stop cature,wait for the blue bar to finish loading it to your computer,when that is done click off the capure page so you are on Dazzle's front page.Find the video in the list of captured videos and double click on that video and it will go to the edit page.

Q: QuestionWhat version of Pinnacle Studio is included with this software, or how do I get it to run on Windows 8.1?Hello, recorder here. I really want to get into recording with Pinnacle Studios, but whenever I install it on my Windows 8.1 computer, I am not able to use it. Why? I have no clue. I've tried un- and re-installing it, editing registry keys, uninstalling other things that might have been interfering, but to no avail. Either of these questions being answered would be quite helpful, but both would be even more. Thanks in advance.

• A:Answer When Dazzle came out W8.1 Did not exist . I am sure since it exist now Dazzle will include it in near future or a patch,sorry I colud not help more.W7 and vista it what it runs on.

Q: QuestionDoes this work with a Mac?I want to use this device to transfer 8 mm film with a Sony camcorder to digital, but I have a Mac computer. I'm concerned if the device itself will be compatible with a Mac computer, once the film is transferred I have Adobe products that I will be able to use for any editing I might need to do.

• A:Answer I recently bought this to do the same thing. Unfortunately you will need to have a windows computer to do so. But you can transfer them over to your Mac to do the editing, just make sure you convert so that the Mac can read it.
