Does the pioneer tv have Wi-Fi built in. null

Sorry for late response. Drum rolll...... yes is the answer. It was able to connect via its on WiFi chipset buit in, at least on the 50" model. Very happy with it. Came quick and easy to set up.

Quick setup guide clearly has instructions for connection by wi-fi OR ethernet. 4 COMPLETE WI-FI SETUP How do I complete Wi-Fi setup? Your TV will guide you through the rest of the setup process with on-screen prompts. Once you’re done, you’ll be directed to the home screen. If you’d like to connect your TV to the Internet (recommended). 1 Connect your TV to your Wi-Fi network using your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password OR an Ethernet cord. 2 Once the activation code is displayed on the TV screen, go to the website link indicated using a mobile device, a computer, or a tablet, and create your Xumo TV account with a payment method if you would like to make purchases on your TV. Note: Xumo TV account is optional. After you’ve set up your TV, you will be automatically directed to the home screen.

It does. Set-up asks you how you want to connect to the internet and you can select your network then.

Appears that they want you to roll the dice to find out. Manual is written to indicate it can connect to your WiFi network however all that verbage is shrouded within or in reference to Ethernet applications subtely. Im going to go out on a limb here and say it is cheap(er) precisely because of this. I might be wrong, but that is where Im throwing my dart. If im right you will need to have the tv near a router or internet modem with ethernet port,, or a wired ethernet outlet in the house......lol screw these manual writers.
