• You can use any non amplified speakers, the sub will need to have its own amp to use the subwoofer out on the receiver.

• 5.1 , 7.1, or 7.2 surround sound should work on the Pioneer receiver.

• Yes they will as long as they are 8 ohms I have Polk and Sony speakers hooked up to mine
