• Using the standard USB connection, no. BUT if you get Apple's Digital AV adapter, then you can mirror your iPhone's screen over HDMI, which you could then display ANYTHING on your iPhone's screen to the Pioneer unit.

• No, possibly if you jailbrake. Pioneer is trying hard to stay competitive on technology of hands free as more and more states are making phones illegal for driving operation. The whole basis to android auto and apple carplay is eyes and hands free, having nearly all controls done through voice. The people who are doing Youtube, Netflix etc, are doing it through chromecast on the HDMI port.
