Is the face of the stereo detachable? null

The unit “Does” have a detachable faceplate! Go to Crutchfield.com website to see the video! Bad information is useful to no one.

The screen retracts into the unit but the faceplate itself is not removable. BTW, the screen retraction function can be set to either auto or manual.

No it’s not. But when it’s turned off the screen retracts into the player !!
