If you installed it yourself, perhaps it may be miswired. Your radio relies on constant power from your car to save settings. It’s like when you plug in your coffee maker. If you turn it off, it saves your settings because you’re still plugged in. If you disconnect it and plug it back in, you lose your settings. Try checking your wiring. Had mine installed by geek squad. If yours was too, take it in and have it checked out. They’re really good about standing behind their labor.

You would have to look in the menu to adjust sound after that’s done it will ask you do you want to save setting and that’s should work. This is only for the sound setting if this is what you referring to..
