- Answer I’ve set up my sub through the Receivers home menu and turned on the double bass option and it’s an amazing difference in music especially. Just need to fine tune your sub and crossover plus find a good setting for movies and music. I have my 10 inch klipsch sub set to +3.5dB.

QuestionWill this receiver play/support Dolby Atmos in a 5.1 speaker arrangement? I have an older Pioneer Elite VSX receiver that won't.

- Answer yes it will. its best if you run 5.1.2 for true atmos. whoever that bonehead is that said 7.1 is Atmos is wrong, 7.1 isn't adding height speakers its adding 2 extra mid side speakers.

- Answer According to my calc this puts out a total of 560 watts. I have a Sony STRDN 1040 that puts out over 1100 Watts. I have never had it wide open and it is loud. Bought is at Best Buy in Meridian which just recently closed...sad

QuestionWill this receiver support 4k 120hz video signal output for an Xbox series x? I purchased a brand new Denon 8k receiver only to find out Denon, Yamaha and Marantz are having issues with 4k/120 hz. I need to exchange my receiver for one that will work.

- Answer Yes. I asked the same question before purchasing, and was told that this is no longer a problem with the newer receivers. I had a PS5 connected without problems.

- Answer Yes it can but they need to be set to zone 2. They will still work just fine though. Just 1 thing.. if you're a gamer looking for 4k120 with VRR HDR ALLM etc etc then wait. No receiver on the market is actually fixed regardless of what they may say. I'm returning this model tomorrow. I've tried models ranging from $800 to $4000. 2 Denon's, 2 Marantz, now 1 pioneer. All claimed the issue was fixed... Not one actually worked as advertised. I even broke my cable rule and spent $50 on multiple HDMI 2.1 "high speed certified" cables from different brands just to be 10000% sure no cable was the issue. I also tested it on 3 different 4k120 TV's. An LG CX, LG C1 & a Samsung QLED. None worked properly.
