Looked it up, and reviews say LX505 has the best sync features over this model, it doesn't list Bluetooth as a feature and is 7.2 compared to 9.2 which is speaker-specific for the up-firing Atmos speakers. The older receivers are not set up for many of today’s current software but their transformers are better built and put out more DC current. So if you have power-hungry speakers for ohms or less, the older receivers tend to handle that load better.
