“Are all pioneer wiring harnesses the same? Will I have to buy a new installation kit or can I use the same one from my old pioneer stereo I got about two years ago?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no they are not. some have fues on side next to plug and some have the fues on the bottom .some have video and back up cameras and some don't .that alone should answer your question
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No...while the plug itself will fit any pioneer car stereo, certain wire may not be in the same position on the harness. It's better to get the harness that came with your model stereo. Good luck and happy installing!!!

Please try again later.I had a Honda Accord 1993 with a Sony car radio (110 $), at the time to dump the car I took out the radio without the harness (my mistake!!!), then, I bought a Honda 2009 without radio so I tried to install the old Sony car radio in the new car but I couldn’t because the missing harness, so I bought a Honda harness (18 $) which one is good for any type of car radio, Sony turns out bad and I get the Pioneer (60$ same functions as the Sony) The harness is designed for the car model, not for the radio. Use the old one, hope my answer was helpful.
