A:AnswerMuat have an amp to operate the sub correctly if not it can mess the speaker and the deck up because the deck is splitting the 200 watt to all the other speakers in the vehicle
A:AnswerThere are many options for type of amp that can be used but I used a pioneer 5 channel 2000w amp. I also upgraded 4 door speakers with pioneer 6x8. System sounds fantastic! The 6x8 only require 75w max each. so the total wattage plus that of the sub was perfect for this amp. You will need to do the research. I bought the speakers from a different retailer. Hope this helps. Good luck
A:AnswerIt should fit as long as it has enough space to lay behind seat. It’s designed to vent bass through openings on sides. As long as it can lay and has room you’re fine.
A:AnswerDo your research. I had installed my 2006 f150 crew cab. I little big sticks out a bit but I’m ok with that. Added amp which totally helped. So depends on your setup and placement. Truck bumps and no cheap vibrations coming from truck with no sound proofing.$100 bucks for sub woofer can’t go wrong.
A:AnswerI believe if you pay the amp installation fee they will install any amp with any sub. As long as the ohm and wattage is compatible. Usually cost about $100. Make sure you have a good amp power cable install kit to match your amp as part of tge install.
A:AnswerShould work, but depends on what you are looking for. I have one in the back of an extended cab pickup, using a similar amplifier which I turned way down. That setup shakes my rear view mirror but isn't shaking windows as I drive by peoples homes.
