It unscrews like any other filter...but...you have to remember to hold the ring closest to the lens, not the knurled ring that is used to control the polarizing effect...good luck

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This filter has its own threads and screws onto the front of the lens. To remove it, turn it counter-clockwise when viewed from the front of the lens, looking toward the camera. It may be somewhat tight, which is normal, so just grip the camera or lens firmly when removing the filter. Hope this helps.
