Would this filter fit on a Nikon Coolpix P1000? null

Ernie, I don't think so since the Coolpix has a extending zoom lens. I use a Nikon D750 and the lens for the 77mm is a beefy Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED with internal zoom. The Coolpix is a nice camera, but if there are no internal threads on the lens, then you won't be able to attach the 77mm UV lens. Hope this helps.
