A:AnswerYes. Best photo scanner I’ve ever bought. You can scan documents and photos to different formats. My favorite is .pdf. Photos can be cleaned up and restored with built in software. I love it!
A:AnswerYou need to hook it up to a computer. But after scanning, you can choose the drive you want to save it to, in which case you can save it to a USB flash drive.
A:AnswerYou can choose between 300 dpi or 600 dpi. I don't really notice the difference to be honest but the 600 takes up quite a bit more memory on my hard drive.
A:AnswerMake sure you clean the sensor area and the black strip opposite the sensor and then recalibrate. You must clean and recalibrate the scanner. By the way, you can visit the Plustek website and click on the Chat window in the lower right corner and chat with our technicians Monday - Friday.
A:AnswerThe ePhoto Z300 scanner must be connected to a PC or Macintosh computer. But once it is connected to a computer, yes it can save the images to a USB drive.
A:AnswerThis scanner is compatible with Intel-based PCs. Apple computers with both Intel and Apple Silicon are also compatible. The Surface 7 uses a Snapdragon CPU so it is not compatible.
A:AnswerYou can set Google Photos to automatically back up the scanned photos on your PC or Mac. Then you set the ePhoto software to scan to the folder that Google Photos is backing up. From there it's automatic. Anything you scan will be uploaded to Google Photos. See this for complete details: https://support.google.com/photos/answer/6193313?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
