It all depends on the file sizes which can vary dramatically. So this is hard to answer without knowing what you’re saving to your computer. I use these for my photography work though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just found a chart on Sandisk's website that explains this. It says a 32 Gb flash drive can hold all of 1000 photos, 2000 songs, 8Gb of files, AND 80 minutes of 1080p videos at the same time. A 64gb flash drive would hold double all of that. This product is a regular flash drive though and would not work with an iphone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The size of any video or photo depends upon the resolution and sometimes the file format, obviously a 64 gb drive holds more. These days you can also purchase 128 and even 256 gb capacity flash drives if you are willing to pay a premium price. While a flash drive will dependably hold a lot of data for a very long time they are not strictly intended to be used to archive files, they can and do fail so if you are wanting to permanently backup your pictures you may want to investigate a service that sells storage space accessible from anyplace or look into something like a blue ray drive which these days seem to get ever smaller in the scheme of things. For "most" of us a 64 gb drive will hold a few thousand typical images and videos but if you are into professional level cameras and high quality videos it's going to hold fewer of those. You should have a way to see file size on your device, most current phones have under 128 gb onboard storage and phones with a card slot for a micro sd are not as common as they once were. So if your phone has 64 gb RAM there's your answer, that will backup everything on your phone since a new phone is not likely to have a memory card slot and also remember your images and videos are not the only thing in your phone's storage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is no clear answer to this because of the file sizes of photos. You can't even say for sure that the 64gb would hold twice as many as the 32gb. If all the photos was the same file size you could but this is never the case. Also I have bought flash drives, micro SD card and hard drives that are never the size listed on the package. A 32gb might only give you 29gb from the start and other brands could be less or more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on the resolution of the picture, and on the size of the video. Most hour long videos will be around 1 gig. Since there is a part of the drive used for tracking the allocation of the data, you'll get around 31 hour long videos on a 32G drive, maybe 63 on a 64G drive. As for pictures, the files can range from 0.6 meg to 2+ meg each, so you're looking at anything from about 1500 to several thousand. Of course, if you start mixing some videos and an assortment of pictures, it gets even messier.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.basically it depends on how many mega pixels you pictures: Here is a chart I hope this helps Megapixels File size (MB) 32GB 7MP 2.1 13078 8MP 2.4 11444 10MP 3.0 9155 12MP 3.6 7629
