- Answer Any drive can be used inside of a desktop as long as it has a sata power and sata data cable, which this does. It only needs a mounting bracket if there are not any 2.5" mounting holes in your case. Most Harddrive sleds have 2.5" mounting holes, but I would double check to be sure. If not, you can always but a 2.5" to 2.5" drive adapter. +

- Answer Compatible with every laptop in the last 10 years that uses a 2.5” SATA drive. They come with a code for cloning software but you will want an SATA - USB adapter or drive dock or external USB enclosure.

- Answer It comes with Acronis and I used it for my drive. It worked amazingly well. It didn't create any unnecessary partitions like some of the other softwares that I've tried using before. I highly recommend this drive and software.

- Answer https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/pd100007 According to the Lenovo web page your laptop hard drive interface is a 2.5-inch, 7 mm / 9.5 mm SATA 3.0 6Gb/s. This SSD hard drive should fit perfectly just make sure that you have the original installation programs and the windows operating system to install on the new hard drive. Also make sure you download the pdf manual of your laptop so that you can follow the removal and installation instructions. Hope that helped

QuestionWill this work on a Dell Inspiron e1505? Currently running Vista but would probably upgrade to 10 if I can get this to work. The computer still works ok just slow. I wanted to speed it up a little. thanks

- Answer The Inspiron e1505 uses a standard laptop SATA hard drive. I do have one of these models and have replaced hard drives in them before. This should work with no issues.

- Answer HI!, I have this SSD installed in a Mid 2012 MBP 13" Perfect fit, easy to replace!, will work at full speed!. Just be careful with the SSD connection on the MBP, they can be fragile. Boot up tome on my 2012 MBP 13" is under 14 secs from white apple logo to desktop!! And this is only i5/240GB SSD/16GB DDR3 ram. While you are in there, upgrade to 16GB ram, Catalina will be buttery smooth!

- Answer Sounds like the drive has failed and needs to be replaced. Otherwise there is a loose connection to the drive! PNY dives have not proven to be reliable!

- Answer I cannot answer your question with experience. I use PC equipment. However, the mac and pc are two different Operating Systems and should have nothing to do with the hard dirve. The SSHD should work with your lap top IF it has the SATA plugs. It must also physically fit in your computer. The PNY is a 2.5 inch drive most common with lap tops. The Mac has a different OS so you would need to find the clone software that can make a clone of your Mac to the new PNY SSDrive. I had a WD drive and Western Digital had a free software for me to download and use to make a clone of the drive to my new PNY SSD. I purchased a USB 2.5 drive case and installed the new PNY in the case. The clone software identified both my WD drive in my computer and the PNY drive I inserted in the USB case. I followed the instructions to clone the WD to the destination drive. It took about 45 minutes I believe. After this I removed the WD drive and installed the new PNY drive clone copy and it operated just as the original but faster. My battery seemedtolast a bit longer butthereal test was the fast boot up and operation of the clone copy. It was like having a new laptop. I would think the same would apply for installing the MAC OS onto a new PNY drive.

- Answer Your laptop probably can only use this as a external SSD. Buy a external SSD case and then you may use it via usb. Check your toshiba website for compatibility for using it as an internal SSD.

QuestionI just bought this SSD today, did an install myself with no issues. I go to turn on my MacBook to be greeted with the blinking, question mark folder. My hard drive cable is fine because it reads on old SSD just fine. I can’t “Erase” any harddrive either.

- Answer Did you install an OS onto it first? before you installed it into your computer? if not, start up from your OS disk/thumbdrive and install OS onto it. The question mark is the computer asking you where the Operating System is.

- Answer No , sorry this will NOT work with your laptop. Yours is an eMMC SSD. Your looking for an NVME M.2 drive. They look like a stick of chewing gum and perform the best out of Solid State drives. They sell these as well at Best Buy.
