QuestionDoes this device put your photos in order and delete doubles? In order as the date they were taken.

- Answer I will answer the doubles first. It gives you a choice, and the option to stay that way for the remainder of the transfer. When I view the files that were transferred to the USB on my computer, using the detail view, the files are by date, but if you go to view the icons, they are scrambled. I use albums on my phone to sort the pictures, and when I transfer I also create the same folder. It keeps the process simple and error free. Good luck

- Answer You don’t have to download anything, and it will backup all your photos and contacts. It doesn’t backup your apps though!

- Answer It translates the photo name to IMG_xxx.JPG, where xxx is an incrementing number starting at 1. You have a choice of creating a folder to put them in.

- Answer I’ve done this often for local friends and groups. Copy iPhone files, photos, documents, into this flash drive, then connect it to a computer and transfer the files there. You’ll need the drive’s app to connect the lightning to the iPhone. The USB connects like a normal flash drive.
