“What does the "type A" term mean exactly? Is the USB connector different some how from what i think of as a standard USB?”

• Just spoke with tech support; type A means that it is compatible with an Android device as well.

• i don't know what type A means but on the package it says it's compatible to a USB2.0 they used it on my niece's Levono computer also it fit in my Samsung computer . It's suppose to transfer fast hope this helps

• Type A is a standard USB flash drive. There is also a type C which fits the standard USB slot but is supposed to have much faster read speeds.
