its a sudo remake of Pokemon Yellow, the events of Pokemon yellow take place here , this games follows the Pokemon anime story just like original Yellow but it does have some differences overall its a good game.

You start of as a new trainer and basically go through everything you did in red, blue, and yellow. I'd say it's more like yellow.
