A:Answer You can continuously record as long as it is plugged in or else the battery would die. Besides that, for the price point, size, and durability of the little thing I think it's a great option for anyone in that age range. If it doesn't turn out well, return it for something else. It will not work with a tripod though; but it does have a magnetic bottom. You can rig one or attach it to something metal (my car worked great) but it won't work with a tripod.
