“Can you use this soundbar with an external amp or do you have to use the built in amp?”

• You don’t need an amp. This thing will blow you out of your seat. I had an old head unit amp 100W but it wouldn’t have worked with it anyway. Besides, your phone will Bluetooth to it if you want to play music.

• The unit has only "line level" inputs; HDMI, optical and a 3.5" audio jack. All of the amplification and DSP effects are internal. The subwoofer is also self-amplified (this is pretty common for subs).
