Will these work as rear surround speakers? null

Yes. Im using them as my rear surround speakers in a 7.2 setup

I wouldn't recommend them for that. Front Presence speakers are what these are for.

Depends on if you want them in the rear and if you put the wire in the right channel connection. A speaker is a speaker, generally work the same. Before i got my atmos i was using 2 little onkyo speakers as atmos worked just fine.

There's nothing about the speaker drivers themselves that wouldn't work as rear surrounds. The angle of the enclosure, specifically set up for better creating the atmospheric/height channel, might give you some trouble when trying to place them. I might recommend something like Polk's Monitor xt15 or xt20 if you don't need the angled front, and that gives your surrounds a tweeter and a woofer instead of just a small woofer.
