The volume was too loud. The soundbar blew.

A loud pop may be indicative of a blown capacitor (usually results in a loud pop when they go), which should be easy to spot on a power board (look for a cap with a bulging or blown end). If that is the case you could solder in a new cap (I wouldn't if it's still in warranty though). Just another troubleshooting step to consider.
