A:AnswerThis would work with the black subwoofer pre-out RCA on the rear of the receiver. Based on the price point of your Denon this should fit into that budget category. One of these positioned properly in a small room should give full room LFE for movies and gaming. It will shake the house for sure but not in an extreme manner, this is still reasonable. If you have a larger medium sized room you may need to run 2 of these to get good bass in all seats. If you are only worried about your seat then one of these positioned optimally would do the trick.
A:AnswerHello, the above would not be possible as the speaker outputs from the PSW108 are not powered. The speaker level inputs need to be fed by a power amplifier for the speaker level outputs to function.
A:AnswerJust make sure they are phased together. Meaning if one speaker is going "out" the other must go "out", otherwise they cancel each other out. The switch on the back makes it easy-peasy. Don't need test equipment; just listen and reverse it. If it's wrong, the bass will be weak.
A:AnswerIt has two subwoofer input RCA jacks on the back, but you'll only need to use one. It also has speaker level inputs as well, so it'll work with any system, even an old stereo.
A:AnswerIt's an 8 ohm sub with a built in internal amplifier. It has sub inputs and speaker level inputs for older systems that don't have sub outputs.
A:AnswerHello, as the setup process is typically done once, trigger the subs power by connecting and proceed with setup. The sub will remain on allowing completion of setup before returning back into stand by mode. Any further questions please reach out to Polk General Customer Service

A:AnswerYou need an rca cable to connect the two. either a single or a,double cable with both channels on it. Both with work but I feel that using both channels on the subwoofer sounds better. Then to connect to receiver you need to have a subwoofer out on the back of the receiver unit. If you go with the double cable you will also need a 1- male to 2- female splitter to divide the single sub output on your reciver.
A:AnswerYou may have to adjust the frequency and volume on the back of the unit. Also you should calibrate you Denon receiver to match the room. Denon makes excellent equipment.
